Swiss Musical Seal Pendant In 18 Karat Enamelled Gold

Swiss gold musical fob seal in 18 karat gold. Antique seal decorated with champlevé enamel flowers in a vase, in light blue, dark blue, light green, and white. This seal consists of a casing containing a miniature musical movement, adorned with fluting on the sides; the lower part of the casing is closed. The mechanism is activated on the upper part, at the "bail", connected to the casing by a vertical bar. The casing has not been opened, it is assumed that the miniature movement is spring-driven, composed of a pinned cylinder. Antique musical seal, circa 1825, Switzerland.
