Antique Reliquary: Saint Thérèse Of Lisieux And The Infant Jesus

An antique circular reliquary from the late 19th century dedicated to Saint Thérèse of the Child Jesus (Saint Thérèse of Lisieux).
Due to its extremely small diameter of just 2 cm (excluding the suspension ring), the object is a classic example of period craftsmanship intended for private devotion or travel.
Inside the case is the original handwritten paper slip in Latin, bearing the inscription “Theresiae Th. a Inf.” (Theresia a Jesu Infante / Teresa of the Child Jesus).
On the back, the reliquary retains its original ecclesiastical seal in red sealing wax. The seal is secured by the original silk threads, which are intact and have never been tampered with—a fundamental element certifying the relic’s official status and sacred provenance.
The structure is made of silver-plated metal, complete with its upper loop and a contemporary ring, which allowed it to be hung or worn as a protective pendant.
