Very fine, carved and engraved antique fruitwood tobacco rasp dated 1757.
Back is nicely engraved with the name of owner, PierreTremeaux, inscribed under a canopy.
It is also richly decorated of embracing doves, palms, fans, a beautiful plant rosette and a crown.
The rasp part is dated. The iron rasp, decorated with chevrons,is old and studded. It ends with a heart-shaped tobacco dropper.
A charming Treen with rustic, nature-inspired decoration with lots of character.
