Horlogerie, Watch - Omega Seamaster Chronometer Electronic F300 Hz - Vintage - Omega Watch
Switzerland, circa 1970-1973.
Rare Omega Seamaster Chronometer Electronic f300 Hz wristwatch produced in the early 1970s, a period marked by major technological innovations in Swiss watchmaking.
This Seamaster is equipped with the famous f300 Hz electronic tuning fork movement, cutting-edge technology for its time. This system, using the vibrations of a high-frequency tuning fork, offers excellent precision as well as a second hand with particularly smooth movement, a characteristic sought after by enthusiasts of these movements.
The original black dial features an elegant, streamlined layout with metallic applied hour markers, date window at three o'clock and red Omega logo at noon. The whole is preserved in a particularly seductive, typically Seventies aesthetic.
The stainless steel case with large satin-finished surfaces perfectly illustrates the watchmaking design of the early 1970s. Its proportions remain very contemporary on the wrist.

The watch is in working condition. A new battery will need to be installed for regular use. It is presented on a modern NATO-type textile strap, not original.
A fine example of a reference that has become emblematic of the history of Swiss electronic watchmaking, at the crossroads between the traditional mechanical watch and the advent of quartz.
