Naiad draped in antique style, she leans against a fishing net while at her feet rests fish and shellfish.
The sculptor paid remarkable attention to the execution of the details: finesse of the face, elegance of the draperies, naturalistic treatment of the net and expressive modeling of the marine attributes.
The circular base bears the molded title "La Pêche", while the underside is stamped in relief HT.
