Louis XIII Period Two-body Diminutive Sideboard, 17th Century
Rare diminutive sideboard in blackened wood, richly decorated with panels of simulated tortoiseshell veneer and red-tinted fillets. Its architecture is typically Louis XIII, with twisted columns, prominent moldings and a large crown adorned with carved and gilded eagles. The front opens with four leaves and four drawers arranged on two levels.
