Baccarat deep pink crystal overlay liqueur set, Lagny model, consisting of a liqueur carafe and 6 liqueur glasses. Crystal overlay refers to a surface covered with a thin layer of colored crystal which, when cut, reveals the white layer by transparency.
The Lagny service appears in the 1916 Baccarat des Arts de la Table catalog. It is listed under the name Lagny in the 1933 catalogue. Our service is a pre-1936 production, not bearing the crystal maker's signature.
