Made in two parts, the set consists of a terracotta sculpture and its wooden chair. The seat, decorated with mulching, is entirely modelled in terracotta and is an integral part of the sculpture, demonstrating the quality of the artist's work. The details of the dog's hair, clothes and coat are finely crafted, in the naturalistic spirit characteristic of Art Nouveau.
