The top is topped with molded white marble. The drawers are adorned with circular ormolu pulls.
The uprights feature ormolu falls decorated with stylized acanthus leaves, while the feet end in small hooves also in ormolu.
The whole is presented in beautiful, harmonious proportions.
This console, specific for its fine depth, is stamped N.S. Dusault, a master cabinetmaker active at the end of the 18th century.
