Antique Table With Six Napoleon III Chairs, 19th Century
Antique table with six Napoleon III chairs in thuja burl and mahogany, dating from the second half of the 19th century.
The tabletop has an oval shape with a central burl inlay and a profiled edge along the outer rim.
The apron beneath the tabletop is embellished with a beautiful bronze trim that runs along the entire perimeter.
The four cabriolet legs are highlighted by gilded bronze finials at the top and scroll-shaped bronze feet at the bottom.
A sliding mechanism allows for the insertion of two original extension leaves, and the table is supported in the center by compass legs.
