17th Century Italian Prie-dieu
This prie-dieu, of Italian origin, is crafted from gilded and blackened wood. It features meticulous sculpting and is richly decorated, which sets it apart, adorned with acanthus flower motifs. The uprights are decorated with floral scrolls and a cross on opposite sides. It is upholstered in antique petit point tapestry.
