"Pair Of 18th-century Walnut Armchairs"
Pair of 18th-century Louis XV style armchairs. This is a pair of armchairs known as "à la reine," a flat-backed model made of walnut in the second half of the 18th century.
The armchairs feature curved lines, adorned with delicate carving of floral and foliage motifs. The upholstery has been recently redone using a semi-traditional method. The set shows some minor restorations consistent with age.
The seat height is 44 cm.
