Pair of scalloped hand screens with pearlized and lacquered Japanese decoration on a boiled cardboard base, turned wooden handles.
The screens feature children and adults in a garden on the front, gilt-painted figures on the reverse.
Very good condition of the mother-of-pearl, traces of wear on the edges of the screens, missing gilding on the handles, one of them formerly re-glued.
