Beautiful "religious"-style mantel clock in Boulle marquetry decorated with lambrequins, acanthus leaves, scrolls, figures in profile, a musician dancing under a baldachin, birds, squirrels, quartefeuille motifs, etc., and rich ornamentation in gilded bronze such as Winged Victory, satyr heads, fire pots, interlacing friezes and quartefeuille motifs, flower and foliage falls, etc., resting on four lion paws, (minor accidents and missing parts).
Bronze dial with enameled cartels indicating the hours in Roman numerals.
Movement revised to working order (suspension modified).
