The city of Kāshmar, located in the Khorassan province, is renowned for its rugs of unmatched finesse and ornamental richness.

The deep and rich dark blue central field is decorated with a complex and refined multi-lobed medallion, from which floral scrolls emanate.
The design stands out for its perfect symmetry and profusion of details, notably featuring elegant vase motifs (signs of prosperity) and stylized birds (birds of paradise or Simurgh, symbols of wisdom and protection).
These elements are harmoniously integrated into a floral and interlaced scroll structure, creating a vibrant and balanced composition.
