Round barrel, rifled bore, with brass rice-grain front sight. Tilt-up system, marked MASS. ARMS CO CHICOPEE FALLS.
Round, six-chamber, hand-turned barrel with foliage decoration.
Single-action operation.
Steel frame with case-hardened remnant, engraved with scrolling foliage; with door on right side rising to access the bark band, door marked: MEYNARD'S PATENT - SEP. 22. 1845. And serial number 268.
Trigger tail and barrel release pusher.
Wooden stock plates
