Italian painting from the first half of the 20th century. Oil on board painting depicting a mountain view, Croda Rossa D'Ampezzo (Hohe Gaisl) seen from the valley floor. The painting unfolds horizontally, beautifully scaled and proportioned, signed lower left (see photo) C. Bentivoglio, attributed to the painter Cesare Bentivoglio (1868-1952). Additional documentation is missing.

The artwork is adorned with a non-contemporary, sculpted and gilded frame, beautifully decorated. The painting retains vibrant colors thanks to a protective glass (now missing) that has preserved its state of preservation. In good condition. Internal dimensions: H 62.5 x W 74.5 cm.
