This rug features a typical geometric composition, with a succession of large cruciform medallions on a dark background, surrounded by stylized floral motifs and a rich multicolored border. The deep colors (reds, blues, ivory) bear witness to the Kazak rug-making tradition.
Ancient tribal work, with a powerful, decorative design, characteristic of Caucasian production.
Condition: good overall condition for an antique rug, please note two small, non-serious wool losses (see photos).
