An antique 19th-century Neapolitan plate made of the finest porcelain, entirely hand-painted. The scene depicts a young girl holding a spindle, rendered with great finesse: an extremely detailed facial expression, luminous colors, delicate bas-relief, and remarkable shading. The rim is decorated with a garland of leaves in relief on a black background, surrounded by a gilded frame. This decoration clearly evokes the Italian productions of Capodimonte.
