Diadem forming a hair comb. The tortoiseshell branchessupport the pompom crown (gilded brass) with an openwork plantfriezes alternating with three rows of coral beads of differentcoral beads of different sizes, those in the upper row being faceted.faceted. Very fine condition, slight traces of oxidationtraces of oxidation, but the branches are not missing or damaged. The caseis lined with yellow satin, but is not in very good condition,(scratches, stains, closure inoperative). French work from the second half of thesecond half of the 19th century.
