Diadème - Gilded Metal And Coral Pearl Comb
Diadem forming a hair comb. The tortoise-shell branches support the pompom crown (gilded brass) with an openwork plantfriezes alternating with three rows of coral beads of different sizes, those in the upper row being faceted. Very fine condition, slight traces of oxidation, but the branches are not missing or damaged. The caseis lined with yellow satin, but is not in very good condition (scratches, stains, closure inoperative). French work from the second half of the 19th century.
