Molded Walnut Crossbow Chest Of Drawers - Rhône Valley, Louis XV Period 18th Century
Walnut chest of drawers opening with three drawers on the front and standing on snail feet.
The crossbeam is curved and the sides have a "chapeau de gendarme" panel.
Wrought-iron handles and key escutcheons.
Probably from the Rhône valley, Louis XV period.
Good condition, despite small accidents and chips, wormholes (with small lacks under one handle), disjoints to the pegged top (three boards) and a handle of similar model. No locks.
Pretty patina of use and well-proportioned, the interior particularly well trimmed in toile de Jouy fabric
