Large Ebonized And Gilded Napoleon III Desk
Large and important Napoleon III desk in ebznized mahogany wood with metal and gilded bronze profiles. The center desk has a finely burled red leather top, four moving legs richly decorated with zoomorphic gold endpieces and cherub heads as well as brass fillets. The front features five large domed drawers giving the desk a harmony that is repeated on the back with similar five "fake" drawers.
