Small flat desk called lady's desk in rosewood and rosewood. It is in the Transition Louis XV-Louis XVI style with arched feet and a recessed top. The base and the belt are in solid rosewood. As for the top, it features a slanted frieze of rosewood, a rosewood belt and in the center a Louis XVI style floral marquetry. Very beautiful gilt bronze trim. The wood is waxed, it has some stains and repairs. Original bronze gilding altered in places. Napoleon III period.
