Statue of Joan of Arc, in full armor, standing, brandishing a standard. The figure presents a serene, focused face, delicately carved in bone, contrasting with the metallic surface of the armor. In her right hand, she holds a sword, while in her left, she brandishes the staff of a standard, whose floating flap emphasizes the dynamism of the composition.
The armor is crafted with great attention to detail: the elements of the cuirass, the chain mail and the decorative surface finishes are clearly visible.
The sculpture embodies the chryselephantine decorative trend, characteristic of the Art Deco style, which combines different materials to create an effect of contrast and luxury.
