Large reliquary frame enclosing approx. 86 saints' relics under glass, arranged around a large central radiating Cross.
Exceptional devotional work carried out in a spectacular neoclassical décor in imitation of a sacred temple, richly adorned with stamped gilded metal plates, simulated columns and polychrome applications.
The numerous relics are identified by their Latin tituli around a relic of the cross
On the reverse under the back of the frame an antique Roman workshop label:

Work from the second half of the 19th century, typical of the great Italian religious workshops specializing in presentation reliquaries for private chapels and ecclesiastical communities.
Presence of old wax stamps and original mounts on the reverse.
Condition
Very good overall condition despite some age-related wear and minor missing parts.
In accordance with canon law (can. 1190 §1), this sale concerns only the reliquary as an object of sacred art. The relics it contains are not the object of the transaction, but are included gratis for their historical and cultural value.
