- Travel cutlery with octagonal hollow silver handles composed of a fork and a knife. The knife has a slightly curved steel blade with a rounded tip, and the fork has a two pringed steel sleeve with a baluster cutout. The both handles are octagonal in shape, closed by a domed, molded captopped by a small seed.
The set is accompanied by a steel tendril,for bottle opening, adaptable to each handle
- It's quite possible that this set was originally set was originally associated with a suitable case. A similar set is at the Ashmolean Museum, Oxford ([2] Vol.3 no. 565,Inv. WA.OA292), as well as in the collections of The Cutler's Company, presented in a silver filigree case, with the London hallmarks of 1692. The hollow handles could hold service items, such as needles or toothpicks.
