- Ashtray shaped shell supported by a raptor paw on a turtle, a snake wrapping around for use. This piece is a derivative of the empty-pocket on the same model in a reduced size.Very beautiful carving.
- Christophe Fratin (1801-1864) is an animal bronzer, who learns animal anatomy from his taxiderminist father, studies drawing and sculpture in Théodore Géricault's studio. Many of his sculptures are kept in the Louvre, Metz, Nîmes and Lyon museums.
