stamped JEANDON, cabinetmaker, marquetry maker, and antique dealer established at 4 Boulevard Bourdon in 1842
Beautiful marquetry work with very multi colors inlay .
There are a lot of gilded bronzes :
– caryatids are “indian”
– sides with the “theme of the seasons” of greek mythology
– sides decorated with satyr mask, foliage…
Interior in mahogany of Cuba, with 2 shelves.
Grey marble in perfect condition. (blue of Turquin)
Key and lock are ok (look plate is not original)
