The Planter has a hairline crack visible only from the inside.
The column has been restored and stapled at the base.
From the outside, the restorations are not visible; the colors are vibrant, and the piece is of fine quality.

This factory, located at the edge of the world, was the oldest pottery factory in France.
Four generations of master potters succeeded one another.
Antoine MONTAGNON bought the factory in 1875 and ran it until 1899.
He was succeeded by Gabriel MONTAGNON from 1899 to 1937,
then by Jean MONTAGNON from 1937 to 1978,
and finally by Gérard MONTAGNON from 1978 to the present day.
The MONTAGNON factory has a magnificent shop.
There, one can find the current production as well as some exceptional pieces.
