Mid-century modern coffee table with tile top, signed Juliette d'Asti

Sublimate your interior with this remarkable mid-century modern coffee table, adorned with a hand-painted ceramic tile marquetry by renowned artist Juliette d'Asti. This piece brilliantly combines the architectural strength of the Brutalist style with the vibrant abstract art of the 1960s/70s.

Signed by the artist: The tiled top is signed "J. d'Asti", guaranteeing the authenticity of the artist renowned for her bold, sun-shaped and geometric motifs.

The center features a stunning abstract sunburst motif in burnt orange and deep anthracite tones, creating a striking focal point.

A sturdy, minimalist structure crafted from high-quality rosewood (or dark-stained hardwood), whose deep, elegant grain enhances the natural tones of the tiles.

Excellent vintage condition. The ceramic tiles are intact, with no major cracks or chips. The wooden structure shows slight wear, a sign of its age, which contributes to its vintage authenticity.

Style: Mid-century modern / Brutalist / Bohemian chic

Materials: Ceramic tiles, Solid wood (rosewood finish)

Origin: French, in keeping with Juliette d'Asti's work

Dimensions: 98 x 53 x 38 cm

Juliette d'Asti tables are highly sought-after for their unique status as "functional works of art". Unlike mass-produced furniture, the hand-painted tiles ensure that each table is unique. It's a centerpiece that pairs perfectly with leather armchairs (as pictured) or minimalist contemporary sofas.
