Female Torso Sculpture In Vintage Studio Ceramics, 1960s, Interior Design
Sculpted female torso in vintage studio ceramics | Terracotta / Bronze patina
Powerful, evocative piece, typical of mid-20th century studio art or postmodern art. This hand-carved female torso has a magnificent aged patina, imitating bronze or patinated iron, although it appears to be made of terracotta or high-fired ceramic.
Its classic "fragmented" style is reminiscent of Greek antiquities, but with a raw, modern organic texture. Ideal centerpiece for a gallery wall, pedestal or minimalist sideboard.
Subject: classic female torso fragment.
Material: thick-fired ceramic/earthenware with dark metallic/earthtone glaze.
Base: currently presented on a marble base (please specify if base is included!).
Condition: excellent vintage condition. Aged appearance is intentional. No chips or cracks, apart from artistic effect.
Dimensions: 41 x 25 x 68 cm
Condition report
In good original condition.
