Silvered lacquer four-compartment inro featuring taka maki-e decoration of pavilions bprd water, with kirigane gold lacquer. The interior in nashiji lacquer. With its manju netsuke in antler with openwork decoration of a tengu with spread wings in volutes.
Meiji period (1868-1912), inro measurements: 9 cm height; manju measurements: 4 cm diameter
The piece is accompanied by an expert report attesting that the manju is made of antler and dates from before 1947.
