Italian Bronze Deers
Two bronze deer. Prized for the lightness and grace of their forms, as well as for their remarkable craftsmanship. One head faces left, the other right. Their predecessors were once unearthed at the Villa of the Papyri in Herculaneum and are now housed in the National Archaeological Museum of Naples.
