Pair of Louis XV period stools, oval in shape , resting on four richly carved and molded cambered legs .
The curved belts feature rocaille decoration typical of the mid-18thᵉ century, highlighted by an antique rechampi patina and tapestry nail finish.

The seats are upholstered in a remarkable petit point fabric with stylized floral decoration and polychrome arabesques in shades of red, blue, ochre and cream, evoking the refined taste of antique needlework.
The tapestry work lends great charm and authenticity to the ensemble.

The undersides reveal an antique wooden structure, with traditional assembly and original upholstery , confirming the authentic character of these seats.
