"faberge" Clock With Rotating Circle Signed Lavigne
Revolving circle clock signed and numbered by the famous watchmaker Lavigne (since 1848 in Paris) "Fabergé" model featuring a covered Medici vase adorned with bronze and brass gilded with 24-carat gold. The clock features an enameled horizontal dial with double-circle turning movement, a striking neoclassical decoration in gilded bronze and red-veined faux-marble patina, embellished on the front with a gilded bronze motif of three golden arrows symbolizing Eros. It rests on a Carrara marble base adorned with finely chased rosettes and terminating in a gilded bronze counter base forming a plinth with spherical runners. Original quartz movement in good working order. Dimensions: 34 cm high X 14.5 cm wide.
