A type of saber common in the 19th century in the province of Tonkin (Vietnam) and Yunnan (China).
Strong, curved, single-edged blade flaring towards the tip.
Handle covered with red cord trezssage (part of the braid at the ring pommel is obviously a restoration).
Rectangular steel guard. The guard has some play.
