Barrels marked "Chanut-Crozet in Saint Etienne". According to Pierre Jarlier in his directory of French arquebusiers and gunsmiths, Chanut-Crozet was a gunner in Saint-Etienne (France) between 1860 and 1870. Very firm barrels, without play.
