Beautiful chest of drawers inlaid with violet wood in quartefeuilles, travers and fil.
It is of crossbow form and opens with 4 drawers, on three rows with crossbars darkened with brass fluting.
Beautiful and rich ornamentation of chased and gilded bronzes (on the corner falls, pull handles, lamp base, key escutcheons and sabots)
The feet are cambered.
The parquet floor is topped with superb Serravezza marble.
Serravezza marble is one of the most prestigious materials.
It is found in its purest, whitest forms and adorned with colored veins due to the presence of other minerals.
The Medici family used it for their important monument.
