Centerpiece In Bronze And Iridescent Glass, Early 20th Century
A Belle Époque centerpiece consisting of a finely chiseled bronze frame supporting two elements of iridescent green blown glass.
The wide lower dish features a wavy, serrated rim, surmounted by a slender cone that echoes the same spiral motifs. The iridescent reflections of the glass shift from green to gold, typical of Loetz productions from the 1900–1910 period.
Provenance: Central Europe, likely Bohemia.
Condition: excellent overall condition, slight signs of wear consistent with its age.
N.B. The object will be shipped disassembled; to reassemble it, simply screw the glass parts back onto the bronze sections.
