Boulle marquetry violonné-shaped cartel with veneered and tortoiseshell back, enhanced with brass motifs. It features a rich bronze decoration of leafy garlands, palmettes and acanthus leaves. The white enameled dial features compartments and Roman numerals. Louis XV style, early 20th century, but beautifully made.
