Rare fan dagger called "tantô". Composed steel blade and a carved, black lacquered bamboo sheat himitating a folded, closed fan. Measures 11,81 inches closed. Wear to the black lacquer and slight cracking. These trompe-l'œil fans were banned in both Japan and China.
