This Art Nouveau bronze sculpture, entitled "Boy with goats", was created around 1900 by the renowned Munich sculptor Valentin Winkler (1873 - Munich - after 1947). He studied in Nuremberg and Munich (with S. Eberle) and worked in Munich. A very similar bronze sculpture "Faun playing the flute riding a goat", 1904, was shown at the IXth Munich International Art Exhibition in 1905 .
