Very nice pair of Vietnamese scholar's armchairs from the late 19th century, early 20th century. They are in ironwood inlaid with mother-of-pearl, the backrests and seat are in white marble dis pierre de rêve because of the motifs that represent mountains, The mother-of-pearl motifs represent plant decorations.
They are in good overall condition, just to note some missing mother-of-pearl and the seat of one of the armchairs, the angle of the stone is cracked ( see photos).
