Embroidery and painting on silk representing the Holy Shroud of Besançon.
The decoration and the vestments of the bishop and the officiants are embroidered in silk thread, the faces as well as the body of Christ are painted.
The embroidery is in good condition with some age wear.
The gilded wooden frame is in the same condition: the entire lower length has been taken up (see photo)
