Antique silver, vermeil and enamel work
Late 19th - early 20th century
Elegant order plate inspired by the Belgian Order of the Crown, created in 1897, featuring a radiating composition with eight alternating branches, finely chased, in partially gilded silver.
The center is adorned with a blue-enameled circular medallion, enhanced by an applied royal crown, framed by a white-enameled cross with flared branches. The whole rests on a starry decoration with faceted and guilloche tips, offering a particularly decorative play of light.
The reverse features a pin attachment system.
No hallmark was found.
Antique work of fine quality, in the taste of Grand-Croix plaques, probably late 19th or early 20th century.
