Late 19th-century Tuscan Double-body Sideboard Made Of Solid Wood
A late 19th-century (circa 1880–1900) Tuscan double-section sideboard made of solid wood, exemplifying the artisanal cabinetmaking of central Italy. Crafted entirely from solid wood, it features an imposing yet harmonious structure, enriched with refined decorative carvings in the Neo-Renaissance style.
The lower section consists of two large paneled doors finely carved with floral motifs and central cartouches, while the upper section, set back slightly, features two glass-paned doors with engraved geometric decoration and interior shelves, ideal for displaying tableware or objets d’art. Turned side columns, molded cornices, and a projecting cornice lend great elegance and solidity to the piece.
A piece with a striking presence, perfect for classic, rustic, or formal settings. In good overall condition, with an original patina that attests to its authenticity and timeless charm.
