50's Dome Wire Ring, Diamond Pavé On Rose Gold And Platinum
50s ring in 750/°° pink gold (18 KT, owl hallmark) and platinum (mascaron head hallmark) richly worked with wirework assembled to form a dome, at the center of which is set a solitaire-style pavement of 8/8-cut diamonds.
This ring is both airy and richly crafted: textural effects and plays of light are created by a finely cut dome, spiral wires, gadrooned sections, interspersed with days and completed by two diamond-set side lines....all while playing on the contrasts between the gold and stone-paved parts, solids and days, and the colors of rose gold and platinum. The ring body extends this aesthetic with a set of wires that give the ring a character that is both plush and refined.
A ring that is luminous and radiant in its materials, design and conception.
