From 1908 to 1911, he exhibited at the GalerieGeorges Petit.Édouard Doigneau is a member of the FrenchFrench artistsof which he is hors concours, watercolorists,orientalistsand horse painters. A draftsman,he sketches in his notebooks and paints with watercolorspicturesque scenes of Brittany,the PaysBigoudenin particular, as well as animal scenes. A painterregionalist painter, he doesn't want to belong to any particularschool or style.
