Designed in 1980 by Italian-Argentinian duo Giancarlo Piretti & Emilio Ambasz, exhibiting modernity and ergonomics.
Made in Italy by Openark, it adapts easily to space-age style and office design.
Structure molded plastic with metal legs. Clean, functional linesfunctional, typical of the period's conceptual language.
Chairs are stackable.
All chairs can be linked together by means of a small end cap and a notch.
This system is ideally suited to creatingrows of chairs, or to move them row by row, for example.for example.
Good overall condition, age-appropriate. Normal signs of wear and tear.
Giancarlo Piretti was born in Bologna in 1940.
He studied at the Instituto Statale d'Artethen works as a designer for Anonima Castelli for 20 years and designed various ranges of furniture.
Piretti has collaborated with such such as Emilio Ambasz in the late 1970s. They designed the ergonomic Vertebra and Dorsal chairs.Dorsal ergonomic chairs.
Throughout his career, the designer has received numerousprestigious awards, notably for the Piretti Collection: the IBDIBD, ASID, Compasso d'Oro and G-Mark awards.
