Duchesse Brisée
a seat bergère, a trapezoidal intermediate element and an armchair-shaped footrest with detached uprights.
The woodwork is painted beige, the broken duchesse covered with a Louis XVI pattern silk.
The waistband of the 3 elements is carved with a sequined frieze (note a small lack on the front of the bergère, see photo).
Thick feather cushions ensure excellent seating comfort.
The seat structure is solid, the upholstery is in very good condition; small snags to the silk .
Very nice proportions for this 18th-century seat, in a beautiful state of preservation.
